A demanding high-altitude loop crossing the three great passes of the Everest region, taking in Gokyo Lakes, EBC and Kala Patthar — the most complete Khumbu adventure.

Itinerary

1

Day 1: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding

Begin the journey along the Dudh Koshi river.

Day 2: Trek to Namche Bazaar

Climb to the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu.

Day 3: Acclimatisation in Namche

Short hikes to adapt to the altitude.

Day 4: Trek to Tengboche

Visit the region's largest monastery.

Day 5: Trek to Dingboche

Continue up the Imja valley.

Day 6: Cross Kongma La (5,535m) to Lobuche

First and highest of the three passes.

Day 7: EBC and Kala Patthar

Base camp visit and sunrise viewpoint.

Day 8: Cross Cho La (5,420m) to Dragnag

A glaciated pass into the Gokyo valley.

Day 9: Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri

Turquoise lakes and a stunning summit panorama.

Day 10: Cross Renjo La (5,360m) to Lumde

The final pass with classic Everest views.

Day 11: Descend to Namche

Long descent back to the treeline.

Day 12: Trek to Lukla and fly out

Complete the circuit and return to Kathmandu.
